ACCESS & COVID

Covid
Please STOP and THINK. Please DO NOT attend the Clinic if you have any of the following symptoms: high temperature, new continuous cough, loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

You can have a video consultation in place of your face to face consultation if you were coming in for a review on consultation. Blood tests will need to be rearranged.

For the most up to date information on Coronavirus symptoms, testing and general queries please visit the Government website: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirusHandwashing

Handwashing is one of the most important ways for us all to reduce the spread of the virus. All colleagues and patients are required to practice good hand hygiene; we have regular hand wash stops, and guidance on how to wash your hands effectively is visible throughout our buildings.

Face masksFace masks will be re-introduced as mandatory for both patients and staff, in clinical areas. Our pledge to you.

As we move forward, our pledge is to continue to ensure your health and wellbeing is our top priority. As such, we will continue to monitor and review our COVID-19 measures, keeping them in line with UK government guidance.

Disability Access
If you have any special needs that you would like support with during your visit, please let our staff know so that we can help you, and also ensure you get the same support in the future. The Practice has been designed to facilitate people with health conditions and impairments to visit; patients also have access to a toilet that accommodates wheel chair use.

There is a step leading up into our clinic however we have a slope that can be put in place to enable wheel chair access.Disabled parking – Blue badge scheme

The Blue Badge Scheme is for people with severe mobility problems. It allows Blue Badge holders to park close to where they need to go. For more information and an Application Form visit your local council office. There is blue badge parking in the car park behind the clinic (Mayflower east) as well as in Drake Circus car park.

There are roadworks currently being undertaken on Mayflower street so please consider these before planning your journey.
